I quite fancy a white nova, with a full cage (done properly.... door bars, dash bars, cross beams etc), nice bucket etc etc

Do you think this should be done when im done building the Corsa bucket?

Engine - i have a spare 2.0 that i think may be running cams (just needs a rebuild)
Seat - i have one spare with 6 point harness

Sounds like a very cheap project to me Main costs - cage/mounts/brakes/susp

And if OJC replies to my thread earlier, where i bet him 100pounds i would have a faster nova than him by the summer of 2005....... I will do it

OR go the small block route? a t.b'd 1.6 ????

Was thinking of buying a cheap nova (£50 or so), stripping it out COMPLETELY and chucking my 1.4 lump in that. Already have breaks(my old ones) and could get 2nd hand susp for about £150.

Funny, thats the year I'm planning to have mine done. Shall I book the track now and get some early bird discount

We best have a monster track day when all our weapons of choice are honed and ready for action

Im thinking about this for after the corsa is done and dusted.

I will be happy with the corsa at 240bhp for a while.... till something happens to the engine and in needs to be opened up... Then i will fit steel rods, better crank etc and go for the same spec as the SBD290+ kit.

Nova would just be a hoooligan fun car.... i would not spend a fortune on it.

Ian - yes.... a track day would be great Watch out for luckyB tho.... that wee pug of his could cause a few upsets
