M3 is an arseholes car, rip off, not even that good IMO The CSL is much better but an even bigger rip off! Then again what do you expect from the Germans?

property, my parents bought a flat to rent out, so the rent covers the mortguage, all the repairs and more, plus the flat has doubled in price in 3 years, the one next to it recently sold for £130,000

the rent also pays the mortguage on our properties in france, its the way forward. im gonna do this sort of thing, sod pensions.

Property is where it's at now, but it may change (not in the foreseeable future, but remeber house prices slump too)

I'd love an M£ but realistically even if I had a hundred grand I wouldn't buy one, i'd put the money to good use somewhere else and buy a 15k evo 6.

I found it to be loads more for an M3 than a similar beemer:
insurance: 325i/328i - £1100 FC
M3: £3200 FC
can't be that much different!

Trust me they are alot more powerful

BTW did anyone see the Beema article in Evo a few months back, with a 33ci with a schnitzer kit (CSL wheels) and a low pressure blower, was just as quick as an m3 but cost more I don't get all these options

just stick throttle bodies onto a 325 or 328 then you have pretty much an m3 engine, just cams and chip too.
that would cost just one years insurance to get an m3 in the first place.
