who they made by? it will say on them, if its delco then they are total gash.

Yeah thats what I was thinking. Can't drive the car so can't compare to my old Nova SR's old standard brakes which were quite good.

I think there bigger than GTE/GSi as they are much bigger than the disc.

they are classed as Delco calipers they are off the OLD vauxhalls .........

only know this as i got given a set and i was thinking the same, so looked into it.
there a post by me on MIG about what calipers are these.

They look like the ones i had on my GTE

Defo not 16v ones tho different clips holding pads in

mk1 astra? or possibly of a lower spec mk2 such as the 1.3, there calipers were this design, and were fairly big

Astra GTE calipers and some nice discs to replace them
