ok, on the corsa NORMAL headlights there is a side light bulb and ONE OTHER for dipped AND main beam

when u switch from dipped to main, one part of the bulb goes out and the other turns on. when you flash people (pull towards u) BOTH PARTS of the bulb stay ON


BUT


on my astra lights in the corsa, there are TWO bulbs for dipped and main beam

so instead of BOTH comming on fpr main beam, the dipped beam turn off, leaving me with jsut main bulbs on

when i flash people tho, they BOTH COME ON

how do i get it so that when i turn main beam on, both sets come on?

i think morretts might work in the same way

well on the morrettes u have a white wire coming of the relay which i clamp across the standard vauxhall wiring thats how the morrettes work mate but i guess with ur astra lights u dont get relay or nething do u?

ud be best seing how the wiring is on the astra ..sounds obvious lol but least ud then know to wire urs up

i have 3 wires to a NORMAL corsa bulb

white

yellow

brown




all i did was wire the white and brown to main beam and made a 2nd earth and white to the dipped beam (or the other way round)

think i need some sort of relay

does any1 have any instructions?

the relay is what keeps one on then brings other on unfortuntetly i threw me instructions away the white wire from the relay clamps to the yellow of the standard corsa wire

so on your moretts, they use 2 different bulbs and both come on on full beam AND when u flash?

yeah thats how i got it at the mo

right i have normal lights on side light & driving light i put full beam on that stays on with the others that were already on??
