not really, u cant get the neccersary heat needed therefore the metal wont fuse aswell.

gonna be welding in a new front cross member, a seat subframe mount, plating up a chassis leg, and possibly flushing the boot if im brave....

+ anything below 150amps is crap in my opinion. Altho you could live with 90 i suppose.

remember not to look directly at the welding - you'll get grit eye - and it hurts

he got some tips and gas and wire for stainless and aluminium too

gasless are fine for outside jobs. power aint really an issue when welding on cars anyways.

BUT the strength of the weld is.

Gasless are used where quick repair jobs ect are needed. Ideal on farms + on sites ect.

i could produce a perfectly strong weld with a gassless welder.
