would i get into trouble? sa i had a load of downloaded warez and mp3s on it! also in my car, i had loadsa copied cd, if they got them would i get in trouble?

If you are serious about not getting caught I wouldnt even bother with formatmyporn200000xp++.exe or format+reinstalling everything over etc etc etc.

Programs like BestCrypt can be used to make encrypted 'drives' on your computer which you can mount, enter a password and see all your data, if you have a long enough password such as a long sentance with both letters, numbers and special characters the feds will have a nice long time trying to get into it when they take it back to hq. Long enough to do whatever (wont go into that).

With the above setup and also running out of the house with the hard disks to a nice location and finally smashing them to bits you will be safe

This is also the reason why my fileserver disks are in racks. Man I got a bad case of paranoia.

I find the best way to destroy data & avoid capture is to either torch the computer or go at the HDD with an axe!
