why is it when things are seemingly going well that it always goes tits up

everything has been going hunky dory for a good xmas, until the PAS went on the car on sunday, i hoped it was just a fractured pipe, turns out the whole fukin rack is shafted

trying to source a PAS rack on the Isle of Man is fukin impossible

the 2nd hand rack itself shouldnt be that dear, u can get a new one from GSF for 129+vat

its the labour in fitting it, plus the fact that the car is gonna be off the road for 2 weeks at least.

it takes a qual mechanic a few hours to fit a steering rack, not 2 weeks!

GIBBS, i live on the Isle of Man, i have to source a rack across the water, get it delivered, then i have to book it in to get fitted. so its hardly gonna get done tomorrow is it.
