i have same prob

how did they know you had no plate? surely they need to be behind you to pull you? if there in front change your route!

i was parked up and sat in the car. i think they were doing aroutine check and went past my car then come round and stopped next to me!
told me to put the plate on asap and it was illegal to drive without it
