a wide 15" you can still get wheelspin but it will still pull away ,with a 17 it will either bog down or smoke tyres.

i was thinkin wider like 205 and wot do u think r they best tyres to use?? dont u think mayb 16" wheels will get more traction onto the road??

for traction. i dont want wheels to small or they will wheel spin all day and also i dont want wheels to big so i loose power. now do u understand y it matters. c o c k!!

well if its a rally car its gonna have best wheels for traction and isnt exactely gonna be runnin 1.0 12 volt power

like Kerry said look on that webby for what wheels they use?
there corsa is ALOT more then your 2lt m8ty, and there going to put the best wheel for trackon and speed
it dosent make any diff if its a 2lt 1.6 1.4 etc etc

If you want the best traction in the Dry use slicks. If you cant get traction then tame your right foot.
You want a tyre as wide as will fit.

u asked about whats best for Tracken speed etc etc
road use or rally use is about the tyres not about the size
so rally cars will use the best size wheels for this and use best rubber for RALLY use so u want the same size with best tyre for ROAD use

P16vlv has had his corsa 2lt 16v for about 4 years now and works for a wheel and tyre place so i think he know what he taking about....

yeh and wot ive heard im thinkin of goin 4 16's with 215 45 16 tyres on the front and 205 45 16 tyres on the rear wot do u think??

well tyres u can get near racing cut slicks, there VERY soft, but are road legal. will not last long and cost abit aswell, bit very goot for trackon and very sticky
Ring BAT Motorsport as they also have a rally/road legal Corsa Rally car.....
i also think tyres have to be the same size all around for MOT and to make it road legal
