Ignore all the usual chatting, basicaly Jay sent andy £250 for a ps3 and 3months later he still dont have it. He also tried to sell the PS3 to somone else.

Just so the information is public -

The notification that the deposit had been paid and the offer of cash on the day were received at the same time. The seller chose to deal in cash in person.

You were told Saturday the 5th what was going on, but the refund was withheld, subject to completion of the other deal.

Seller then ignored u2us until the 10th, at which time a refund was made. It must be said that there is a plausible explanation as to why the refund wasn't made straight away although this is entirely avoidable and was poorly administered by the seller.

It is also true that the seller has taken some time to reply.

It also may be true that the seller has gone back on the terms of the deposit but I can't be clear on this because I can't see the transaction dates to compare them to the u2u dates.

I've no real complaint to make against the seller in this case as cash on the day is a far safer way to trade and I would actually suggest this as a preferred method, particularly as you are only around 30 miles from each other.

I think I would recommend that sellers must be communicative, particularly when they have other peoples' money, but I've no reason to issue a red message or prohibit trades in this instance.
