It will expand in a confined space, making it very 'hard'. That will be more ridgid than 'air'

Only concern is the water / rust aspect

Maybe you can get different grades, but the building stuff that i'm thinking of is flexible. You can compress it between your fingers. :|
Could be used to strengthen side skirts, but would do sweet FA for you if you wanted it to add rigidity to sills/chassis rails.

sounds like a stupid idea to me aswell

That stuff is flexible.
How on earth is it going to stiffen anything up?

Also, it may trap water and promote rust.
Also it's a bitch to apply properly, and even worse to remove from the bits that you didn't want it to get on.

Give it a go - It's hardly going to weigh much is it

Ive heard it used alot on driftowrks etc to stiffen up the sills and rails ?

not that many people can be wrong can they

yes / no ???

I bought some last night to fill the skyline sills with on friday when i get a day free.

Do you think it would stiffen the chassis much? I was also considering taking it further and filling accesable chassis rails....

Would you do it?
