day was fine....

Took it easy most of the day, but started to open it up towards the end and then got thrown off track for noise issues :S hehe

Then had a wee fire in the car on the way home, police, fire brigade etc :lol:


will post more on it later, and some vids.

i went for an hour, donnington was well busy! but i saw them on the track once, wouldnt of been theres on the trailer as they drove down

How did the day go? Had a friend there that said he saw a skyline like yours on slicks sat on a trailer most of the day :( Hope it wasn't yours.

i've seen teams cut extra groove's into tyres when it has been really wet.

as far as I know, yes...

They just groove slicks to their desired tread patterns.... you can buy them though. Compound of the tyre will prob be different too

And thats all the way through to Pro-racing teams? (cut slicks)

Would love to come and watch but i'm to far away to just pop down.

we just use 888's in the wet as we find them pretty damn good (if they have decent tread depth left)

'Wet' just tend to be 'cut' slicks.....

so you have race Wet tyres for this skyline?

Are they just soft cut slicks? -i've never really seen these.

anyone going to be there?

Booked on for the full day to get some TimeAttack practice in for Fee.

Skyline is back in business so we'll be driving ALLLLLL the way down in that :S daunting! (still dont have the feckin tow car... it'll prob turn up on monday or something liek that :mad: )
