i know driftworks do a good kit thats not too expensive, just recieved ours for the timeattack car.

Ive got a 2.5kg powder OMP one clamped in to the skyline passenger footwell

Have to make sure if you have a hand held one it is dry powder, and a decent size.

We have to carry at least a 2kg dry powder in the works vans, so i will be getting one the same size for the car.

i have a hand-eld one rom teco - £10 :)

Also re the bolts you can get stronger bolts to the same size and spec for less money from somewhere like Walkers in Widnes. Far cheaper than Vaux.

Still think a full plumbed in (how many zones?) is overkill, but its up to you.

broster, im not pushing the car more than it was built for, this is safe but entry level.

the botls are to put it back together and knwoing there up to the job is good enuff, going nuts on fancy stuff is pointless and can work out expensive.

first things first is to get it built, i can improve as i use it more. :)

tbh a fire extinguisher is one of the best things you can buy think how much money you have spent modding cars just for it all to go up in flames in a freq accident, well worth the money imo,

Just get yourself a mechanical pull tyoe ones and put the pin in when using it on the road to stop you pulling it by acccident as they are not fun to clean up!!!!!

i picked mine up second hand and unused, best way IMO, try ebay.

also why use new vaux nuts and bolts, why not get some better stronger items if your concerned about safety, better quailty items out there for less money

like the front end, im working on atm, all new nuts and bolts from vaux to make sure its done correctly. with new ball joints, track rod ends, etc etc :lol:

thats a bit overkill isnt it? A strapped in hand held will be more than enough for a road/track car. You'll be adding heaps of weight just incase :boggle:

im haveing a plumbed in one for peace of mind, also carrying a hand held one too.

the external pull will be only connected when on a track.

a plumbed in one? are you needing that to meet any regs or just for peace of mind?
