its just a wee 5 min warm up session.... 3 groups do 1 5 min session.... its then open pit for the duration.

I was thinking car speeds as i dont know the drivers skill... not all of them anyway

Thing is... the mini driver of 106 driver could be a brilliant driver and going round quick... the Tvr or skyline could be driven by a muppet and going round slow and all over the place.

maybe just split it by people's skill level ? ./ let them choose.

Otherwise

Group 1 : Hatches
106
Civic Type R
Golf VR6
Mazda MX5
205 Mi16
CTR
205 Gti
S1 Elise
Civic
Elise
Mini Cooper
CTR
Golf turbo
Focus RS
306 Gti
nova
CTR

Medium Paced
Skyline
Caterham
Evo
Evo
Impreza
Evo V
Lotus Exige
GTiR
s2000
EVO V
GtiR
skyline 33GTSt
skyline 33GTSt
s2000
Exige S
TVR Cerbera
nissan 200sx S14A
MNR Vortex
Ariel Atom
Exige S
Ariel Atom

And super quick group...

Then move people up and down between the groups for the final thing...

So all the cars that were super quick (out of medium group or first group if they are QUICK) - move to the super quick group.

Move any of the medium group down if they were rediculously slow (i.e. poor driving and holding people up, novice etc)...

Move anyone in the slow group up to the medium group if they had a fair pace, were driving well and were obviously quicker than people in their group.

I'd start with...

RWD
RWD Turbo
4WD
4WD turbo
FWD
FWD Turbo

and then mix and match the actual cars accordingly dependant on how many examples of each category there are.

How would you group the following cars?

Skyline
106
Caterham
Evo
Evo

Golf VR6
Mazda MX5
Impreza
Evo V
Lotus Exige
GTiR
205 Mi16
s2000/CTR
205 Gti
S1 Elise
EVO V
Civic
GTiR
Elise
skyline 33GTSt
skyline 33GTSt
s2000
Mini Cooper
CTR
Exige S
Golf turbo
Focus RS
TVR Cerbera
nissan 200sx S14A
306 Gti
nova
MNR Vortex
CTR
Ariel Atom

I have 3 groups setout already but there are some glaring mismatches in car ability :boggle: basically due to changes and late bookings etc
