Good post Paul. Leave it with me and I'll get some info on getting track time.

Yeah shouldn't be a problem Paul. I know they wanted the forms back fairly quick so we'll need a decision soon anyway. I assume you can choose your slot?

Might even be worth bringing the deadline forward slightly and making sure we get a good one?

try to get us out on the same session please

I really wanna go on track with people off CS and race with cars other than 205's and 106's

so hopefully you guys will be able to book 10:30,11:30 or 2 as well, or book a slot somewhere not close to those three times like 12:30 so I can come on track with you guys too :D

otherwise I may have to cancel one of my slots with the FSC and buy one with your guys to come on track with you lot too.

Captain Rosco is already on CS, he used to have a corsa till he crashed it :o

I would've been up for organising the weekend racer stand, but my 'free entry' and track time is on the basis that I attend and am on stand with French Sports Club.

I'm sure we can get a few people up for it though. No idea on minimum numbers needed to book sessions, to be honest, I'd imagine you could actually ask to book just 1 session if you wished. The sessions aren't booked exclusively for your club (unless you have enough people), but the company try to put similar cars / clubs out on track at the same time if possible.

Track Action Day at Castle Combe on the 19th of April.

http://www.castlecombecircuit.co.uk/

http://www.castlecombecircuit.co.uk/springactionday.htm

It's a fairly easy to learn track, ideal for people who want to have their first experience of track action, without the pressures of paying for a full day or getting daunted by the complexity of the track (nurburg or cadwell).

This track action day is open to anyone, although currently they are only offering track time to clubs (so it may be worth sorting a 'weekend racer' club for the day if anyone off here is interested in track time) - otherwise I think you can buy individual sessions closer to the day or on the day (if you're quick to the office!).

I'm already attending with French Sports Club, and as such I've got 3 sessions booked,

10:30am, 11,30am, and 2pm. Through FSC it only costs me £20 per session (where as buying direct = £35 individually per session).

A session on track is about 15 mins, which doesn't sound like a lot, but is enough for a good laugh without killing your car.

If Weekend Racer organises some club track time I may be interested to get another session with you guys (if you can also get it for £20), as long as the time slot doesn't clash.

I also know several people who want individual sessions at this event but currently can't book as they're not in a club. Captain Rosco off here (who's now got a hyundai coupe) and my mate with a St170.

It'd be good to see some of you guys at the day, it's usually great entertainment to watch.

Paul
