I really like this car, don't see too many SRIs about these days. Gotta say normally aftermarket steering wheels don't do it for me but that is lush, looks awesome mate. Good project, keep it up

Fitted it then heat the hangers and pushed it up until it sat better!

Backbox looks too big what is it 4"?

Taylorboosh is gonna buzz off this

Think it's about 4", I prefer it to the original backbox but I've bought a system for it with a 2" rolled tip but not fitting it until summer as I need a decat pipe and resonator welded in, booked and saving for Canada so it'll need to wait :)

Gave it a quick wash, fitted the original airbox with the proper cold air feed pipe. Got an OMP Steering wheel until I can find a GSi/SRi non-airbag wheel and Depo headlights. Managed to find an original grill badge to do away with the red ones that were fitted, just need a badge for the bootlock if anyone has one.

Saturday night, weathers shit, make a project thread! :)

Some of you might know this car as the previous owner is on here (Dale)
Sold the Mk1 Punto I had before this and needed another Vauxhall, got looking and seen this on gumtree, went and seen it that weekend and brought it home!

Advert photos

Got it home, quick snowfoam then fitted a stainless backbox and sorted the blowing centre section!

Purchased a set of Speedline's

That's it so far..

Next up:

Depo Headlights (bought)
Machine Polish
Front Mudflaps
SRi/GSi Non Airbag Steering Wheel

Possibly a set of MHW's - no sure yet!

Cheers
