I really like a clean looking Uno Turbo, esepcially in dark red.

shame you couldn't restore this one. Project sounds cool though.

Well story begins a few moons ago when i was 17 and the first turbo/fast car was a Mk1 1.3 Uno Turbo, every since then i have always wanted another one to play around in.

So 18 months ago i hear of a Uno Turbo for sale which smoked. It had loads of new parts, as the owner being ripped off my a number of garages all saying the problem was a number of things. Brand new head, full recon Turbo etc but the problem is the rings. The car came up at a very very good price i snapped it up without even looking at the car.
I plan was eather restore the uno OR take the engine out a put it in somthing else.

Went to collect the car, found the shell was rotten.

Putting the car in my Mother garage and planned on putting the engine into somthing else.

So 18 months have passed along the way i got hold of a Fiat Cinquecento for £50 off a mate.

So the project begins.

I have removed the engine from the Uno aswell as taking all the valubule parts off.
Uno got weighed in last week.
I took the cinquecento engine out on firday so work begins.

I have also got for the car
- 2 x magnum bucket seats
- 8lt'ish front mount intercooler
- WON NOS kit

Car will be total standard looking, running around 1.0bar of boost with around 140-150bhp without gas in a car which weights around 650kg = 234bhp per ton (Without Gas)

Also another reason for the project is everyone on the Cinquecento owners club keep going on how hard and how much it will cost, as they has only been 1 or 2 done and heard prices from £3000 all the way upto £17,000
