I think this is a very well put together car!!! Only bit that doesn't suit my taste is the Bumper meeting the bonnet (i'd have put a grill in it) but each to their own.

Well done mate on a cracking build!!!

Hello All

I thought i would post a log of the progress of my car as it was getting built.

Original:

Here is the car when i brought it, a standard 1.6 16v Corsa Psort on a V-Reg.

Bodywork:

After a few weeks i had already got the kit and set about fitting and spraying myself with the help of my dad:

Taking the car apart.

Test fitting the kit.

Our spray booth, lol.

Cutting the lip off the arches.

Fitting the kit.

I drove about over the winter with the car sprayed by us, but i wanted to get the car sprayed properly for Max Power 2004, so i sent the car into CMR for a respray.

Bodywork:

Badboy Bonnet.

Badboy Boot.

Smooth grill on front bumper.

Then i had the whole car resprayed in Black.

Chroming:

While the car was in having a respray i had some chroming done.

Rear Drums.

Calipers.

I then had to get it ready for Max Power 2005.

Engine:

I had the manifold, inlet manifold and some other little things chromed to bling my engine bay.

When they cam off the car:

After being polished:

I then had a full respray in black with rage mercury metalflake.

The roof:

The car:

The bonnet:

Interior:

I made some new door cards to house the JL 3 ways and then smoothed the handle and the lines off the top section.

Bottom:

Together:

I removed the speedos off the dash, smothed the passenger side to match the drivers side, removed the handle off the govebox, smoothed the heater vents, made a custom mount for the screen, mounted a slot load dvd drive for the pc.

Dials removed and smoothed:

Slot load dvd drive mounted:

Glove box modded for heater controls:

Passenger side smoothed:

A sub box was built to house the 13w6 and a 6.5" screen:

The whole interior was then sent to the trimmer to have a ful retrim in lemon leather.

Dash:

Bits:

Seats:

Headrests:

The whole car was covered in Ivanhoe Sound Deadner.

Back:

Door:

The car was then assembled:

Front seats:

All the screens:
