Thought i would join the trend and make one of these project threads. As some of you may have noticed, the car was up for sale. But after the timing belt jamp a couple teeth caused by a pully being loose the valves are fucked so engines needing a part rebuild.
So now iv decided to go the whole mile with the car and do everything i had originally intended on doing.
Heres some pics of differant stages of the car being built.
Started out as my Grandads car that i bought for 500 bucks with only 29,000 miles on the clock after writing off my corsa sport.

Now the original plan was not to do much while i saved for a new car, set my self a grand to do car with...That went kinda tits up

First mod i did was put a set of 17s on

then the coilovers and backbox

But this rubbed like mad so changed the to 16" momo corse

Then i got myself a old c20let out of a calibra

This was rebuilt with the following spec.
REGAL UPRATED CON-ROD BOLTS, STEEL UPRATED 1.9MM HEADGASKET, POLISHED/GAS-FLOWED COSCAST HEAD, RE-CONDITIONED KKK K16 TURBO, , COURTENAY SPORT UPRATED ACTUATOR, FRONT MOUNTED FRONTERA INTERCOOLER, COOL RUNNING THERMOSTAT, F20 5 SPEED GEARBOX WITH, BLACK DIAMOND POWER CLUTCH. Jetex straight through exhaust system, green cotton air filter, Baileys DV36 dump valve. Vectra v6 brakes and calipers with EBC Green stuff pads...also running a wallace performance chipped ECU but not sure what stage yet

The engine was then slotted in, although we came accross a lot of problems along the way.
This is how the car stands now.

The car is now off the road for the winter after the timing belt jumping, i will be replaicing the head.
Plans are as follows:
To get car runing again.
Respray in original star silver, anthracite trims.
Morette headlights
16"Softstars
Recarpet interior, new seats, roll cage.
Hopefully get engine putting out around 300+bhp.
