Next up on the list was new seats and wheels :)!

Sourced a set of cali leathers for £30 and after a 3hr round trip to Ipswitch with a mate, collected some near mint leather seats.

Got them fitted a day later, and look like this:

I am sooo pleased with them. The fronts are sooo comfy and are almost made to fit lmao! The rears, I used the foam and covering and trimmed this down a touch so it did fit . The base is the leather covering on the old corsa bench :).

Next was a set of alloys - nothing toooo big but something else to my falling off 13" wheel trims :).

Jambo on here (only a couple of miles away luckily ;)) offered me a set of corsa sport wheels for a steal :)! Thanks mate - top bloke

Anyway, fitted them on the car in thew snow (well in the garage :))

Look mint in the car:

Woot!

Next thing I did was debadge it - easy job with the help of some tar n bug remover and some garden wire pinched from work lmao!

Looks much cleaner with no badges on - plus noone knows how slow it is then!

At the time, future plans were:

-Cali leather
-Alloys of some description
-GSi spoiler
-Depo's
-Small drop

Well not much of a project, more of a proress dairy of my first car!

But anyway... bought it around this time last year - an Arden Blue 1.2 16v GLS AC with bout 40k on the clock. Learnt to drive (in 7 weeks birthday to test :D!) in it and it now my daily drive :)

Started out completely standard - even had the original CAR-300 stereo in it.

This is the autotrader pic that i found one thursday evening (bought the car on friday morning!)

Bought it home and gave it a clean on the friday:

(note the CAR-300!)

Within weeks that was out and a bought a Sony flip down cassette/CD changer stereo (with a 10 disk changer) and my dad helped me fit it! I love this stereo, blends well in with the dash, shut or open!

Thats how it stayed for a while - until i bought a shockingly cheap (and bad quality) sub and amp which got nicked (grrrr).

So, I bought a better one off a mates dad and hid the amp so it wouldnt grow legs:

Stereo wise i bought some JL audio components from a mate which slotted straight into place of the rears.

And thats how it stayed until a few weeks ago - more about that later when I get in from *cough* windsor cruise *cough* :)
