Well i wanted to get the car on the RR again to make sure its running 100% and as you can tell by the graph there's a big improvement, noticably in the midrange torque! Graph is now nice and smooth!

Its just the angle of the pic, the wiring is all insulated so not bare metal contact can be made.

As i said im in no rush to sell, i ve got alot of student debt to clear but at the moment it's not at a critical stage by any means!

Still gona carry on with bits with the car. It's kinda addictive!

Not sure on cams as of yet, what were you gonna put in there? was thinking along the lines of 270 deg but not sure, want it setup so that when throttle bodies are put on it ll compliment each other!

The rear will come down when the coilovers are fitted, when ever they arrive!

There were a few little things v-tuning did but cant for the life of me think what they were. Oil and filter change and just a general look around and make sure it was all in good order. Radiator fan needs replacing and moved slightly.

good work mate.
did V-tuning do anything else with it while it was in there?

did you decide on cams yet?

Well it all started with a dream... or a desire for a second car to use and abuse on track days, quarter mile and general arsing about.

1st Test drive was with a nissan 200sx which was a dog of a car, wasnt worth even sniffing at with my budget in mind.
Then i went to see Myke (off of here) and his 2.0 16v gsi corsa for sale and after a test drive, some ebay badgering and a few days later i was the proud owner of my 1st 2.0 16v corsa.

1st port of call was to Surrey RR so that i could check and make sure it was fueling and running as well as it should.

At the fly:

At the wheel:

The fueling/air problem:

On further inspection of the AFM it was clear that the rubber pipe from the power cap to AFM was split big style so that was replaced!

Then i noticed some problems with it... battery was draining itself and causing the alarm to go off at 4am, which didnt go down too well with the residents of the other flats! This happened a couple of times and after changing the battery once and it still happening i decided to take it down to V-Tuning.

After breaking down on the way to V-tuning, Henryk found the fault, which was as Myke suspected the fuel relay, so a new one of those and some other fancy work including battery relocated to the rear of the car.

Can you spot whats missing?!

I got the car back and its running very well now! should be up on the power it produced on the RR so will take it back some time soon to get it checked.

After reading lots of posts about weight of peoples corsas etc etc i thought heck lets get mine on the weigh bridge....

BONUS!!

Was very happy with that result. My mission is to still get as much weight off the front end as possible to begin with it will be means of light weight bonnet and some light weight wheels.

Next on my list of things to do is get the Gaz coilovers fitted, if they ever turn up, new front and rear anti roll bar and LSD.

For the time being my goal is to get it to 200 bhp/ton and then eventually to 200 bhp and 820-835 kg.

It currently stands at 178 bhp/ton which isnt too shy at all.
