Update.

Smoothed in arches arches - grinded off... it got pretty dusty

So glad I took them off. As they were smoothed with just fiberglass and filler... it just peeled off if i flexed the plastic arch :!

Back bumper trial fit...

Next job is to spray some mesh black and fit it to the rear bumper. Need to make sure the bumper is on solid too.

Needing an exhaust next. Thinking of a dual system or just a 6x4 oval back box.. suggestions?

I personally think the wheels will suit! We have got a 60mm lowering kit too, so I think the front will look very nice! Will be a tad low like :o

Going to start on a bad boy bonnet soon, proberly use fibreglass unless I can get my hands on a welder.

Before I start fitting all the bits though I have to wait for a new garage door to be fitted, which I have been told is going to be 3 weeks!!

Cheers for comments! Should have some progress pics up of the bumper over the next few days :)

... to my nephew!

A few of you may remember when I bought the car last summer like this...

The original plan for it was to XE/LET it strip it and have a fun little track car!

Anyway, I ended up telling my nephew ill give it him for when he passes his test. So the car is staying a 1.2!

In the summer I got a little bit of work done

Started to strip the paint as originally it was going to go a different colour.

Great helper eh?!

(Semi smooth boot started)

I then started in smoothing in the arches, which are now coming off due to it ending up cracking (should have welded etc...)

That was pretty much the end of summer 06.

As the car stands now, its looking a little sorry for itself!

(Notice the smoothed in arch? Will be fun grinding back down  )
