Mrs surprised me with the Anker A3143 for my birthday.

2 x 10w speakers and a sub. Is superb for the price.

Good to know if that other one I was considering is Anker!

Good price, they're more than that now.

Yeah i just checked. Cheeky buggers have increased their prices  must have been selling too well.

We've got the Nokia Play 360 and the sound is phenomenal for its size.

It's only background music for "dinner parties" and the like, so hasn't got to be heard over loads of people at a party. Got surround sound with Aux for that.

if this is for partys then sound will not be THAT important

plus its a low budget so you wont get much

It looks nice. And seeing as that is your only criteria, as per my reply above, it'll be fine.

Don't kid yourself though. No single person has ever paid £120 for that. MSRP is often inflated on cheap products to make them seem desirable.

Can't be too bad if its £120 retail.

At that budget, just buy whatever you can stand looking at in your kitchen.

I'd like to get a Bluetooth speaker for the kitchen. All we have is a DAB radio currently with poor signal, so when we're entertaining choice of music is limited.

Mum & Dad have a Sonos Play 1 which I do love, but can't afford that much. And it is essentially a Bluetooth speaker with it's own media player. Granted you can connect it to others etc.

I've actually seen the Anker® A7908 Portable Bluetooth 4.0 Speaker with Super-Sized 4W Driver which is half price on Amazon, I guess because it is an old model.

I guess people don't much about that, but how do we think it'll compare? Got max £40 to spend really
