Seen them Dave although best price I've seen is about £25 each for a chrome one, can't see how they are worth £20 more for 2 usb sockets ?

Normal sockets for me. Although for the fire switch I used flush as its in a prominent position next to the fire surround. Spent a fortune on these whilst doing the house as they soon start to add up!

quote: You can caulk around them if you have to then paint the caulk but have to be quite patient to do that haha. Best thing to do is knock the power off unscrew the current front plate and take a steel rule across the top across the bottom and up each side, look for space behind it you will get away with 1/2mm [Edited on 10-08-2015 by Dee25790]

I used flat plates and they look good as long as the wall is flat around the back box, otherwise you tend to get a slight raised plate. And make sure your back boxes are deep enough; i had a few that weren't and it made a simple job turn into a bit of a ballache with having to chisel out walls for deeper boxes.

yeah thats whats making me edge towards the raised ones due to slightly rougher walls

I like the flush fit ones myself. As long as the plaster around the back box is good though if it's uneven it looks like shit.
