New homes do not have to be "lifetime" homes from what I have seen. However, if it does have to be, here is some guidance I found: | |

You can rip up the ramp and stuff wheel chair access as soon as its in the owners posession afaik. Thats what people did when I worked onsite. Is it your house? Self build? | |

Bit of a random question, but generally wheelchair users need 1000mm to turn/maneuver. | |

Does anyone know what the minimum distance a kitchen island needs to be from walls, cupboards etc for wheel chair access etc |
