	I think it looks really good. It's a good ratio of glass to frame as more glass could have dominated the bay.

	That said. If your not going to be selling anytime soon it would not bother me in the slightest not having it. When you come to sell you can always get retrospective cover or just indemnity, thats if the buyers really care.

	Everest are crap! I work for a company who make for many of the window companies in the uk (mainly special order items) to be honest you would be better going for one of the small one man companies as you get a better service than the larger companies. My mum and dad just had triple glazing put in their house and used a local lad to do them and the service and quality was miles better than the bigger companies.

	No way I am I fitting my own, although my mate used to do it so know whats involved Yes Ben 25k to 8k was for exactly the same quote no changes to spec or work to be carried out In the end gone for a quote at just over 3k which I don't think is too bad although cannot be compared to the Everest quote as the spec of windows was better at Everest - but not £5k's worth better [Edited on 19-01-2015 by whitter45]

	I fitted my own. Went to Roundbrand with dimensions, they made them. I then picked them up and fitted. Just need a really good drill, some packers and sealant.

	Everest are laughably overpriced. Amazing that they can go from 25k to 8k for presumably the same spec windows? My grandad worked for a window firm for a while after retiring from Ford so we get all our glazing from them. They still managed to mess up my dads 3k bi-fold doors though. Fortunately they put everything right for free.

	What a nightmare of an industry double glazing is, Had a few round with so many variations on price, advice and overall professionalism Worst was Everest - was never going to purchase but by God I wonder how they are still in business. For the Front of our house we started at 25k and got down to 8k - still 5k dearer than the one I am going to go with and then they wonder why Double Glazing Industry gets a bad name [Edited on 11-02-2015 by whitter45] [Edited on 18-02-2015 by whitter45]
