Originally posted by Pop Lots of progress this week; however, it's not the easiest to capture in pics as it would be more of a case of spot the difference with earlier updates. The hallway walls have been leveled off and the lintels removed that were above the old front door and hallway door. Plaster board has started to go up, as well as insulation. Since this pic was taken lots more boarding has gone up in the new lounge. Most of the kitchen has been ripped out, leaving us with one cupboard, the sink and cooker. I got a copy of the kitchen elevation drawings from Howdens yesterday and the builders are going to mark out the positioning for the higher level cupboards. This will be a guide for the plumber who is due to fit a new boiler in a new location (hidden behind a cupboard). The electrician is due back soon to do work in the kitchen and the other rooms before any plastering can begin.
