I use to work for an underfloor heating company. Its improved massively over the past few years. GF had work there for 10years. You shouldn't be able to feel the heat for it to be a good system.

Its called Uponor - http://www.uponor.co.uk/solutions/indoor-climate-solutions/underfloor-heating/one-pack.aspx

Im currentley re-doing my kitchen, dinning room and utility and knocking them through open plan. In doing so I need to remove and relocate some radiators and not really got a good place for them to go! So wondering about underfloor heating. I would want water really as paying to heat the rest of the heating system so dont want to put electric in and in essence pay twice.

The area is roughly 20 square metters and a concrete floor which will be having solid wood layed over the top.

I have no idea of price's and dont know if its worth even looking at?:boggle:
