Bonney - It's an access pathway. We live in an end terrace and it gives access for everyone else to get in the back gardens. It means they don't have to carry lawnmowers through the house etc.

Ben - Behind our house is a few really large houses and that is basically a big hedge which gets cut back every so often. If it was much lower we would probably be overlooking each other. Our front garden is around 60-70ft so we've got plenty of space to enjoy the sun.

is it a forest behind you where those large tree's are? they seem to block out a lot of sunlight into your garden.

Is that an alley way into next doors garden or have you made the garden smaller?

So back in the January storms we lost 7 fence panels in the front and 2 panels at the back to the wind! We're leaving the front for the moment as they only separated the drive from the garden, but the back was in general looking a bit ropey.

Some before pics of the back garden...

The garden clearing commences...

Concrete posts and kick boards in place. Excuse the poor pics the rain was biblical and I wasn't up for getting any wetter...

The finished job, fence panels in and clear area grass seeded. No plans yet for much more than just grass out there. Really happy with the results...
