quote: Was about to say the range do some really good stuff and to top it off i get 25% off found quite a few small bits & bobs from there we want, but know getting around the sofa she wants from next, have to agree on how much people bang on about it, although it or most of it is better quality then say argos ect

Did my first round of shopping/looking yesterday & I have to say although Next isn't a prestigious brand it's certainly solid as far as the furniture goes. Not all of it is that great but it at least feels worth the extra money

quote: WTF? Next is hardly the kind of place you want people to know you bought stuff from. They do good stuff but I wouldn't say it's a particularly prestigious brand.

I'd rather have a £5 curtain pole tbh, do you think I had any input in what curtain poles I have?

Next stuff can be found half the price in other shops, its only bought by the type of people who buy it so they can tell you they have a next curtain pole from next

Next stuff is extortionate. Got 2 curtain poles that cost the best part of £200 and they are crap.

I used to look through avforums but all the ones I liked involved having a wall basically covered in TV and speakers, missus wasn't having it :(
