Originally posted by Tomnova16 As some of you may remember i asked if there was any chippies who wanted to build me a wardrobe. My polish painter got his chippy friend over and quoted around £700 all in for MDF and filled joins rather than stud and plastered. I mulled it over and thought how hard can it be. watched loads of videos on youtube and found the "tommys Trade Secrets" ones to be the best. so started it a couple of weeks back when i had the time, no rush, wanted to make it perfect. my highly detailed plans  outer frame didnt take any of the stud but heres the plasterboard on had to move the light switch too, which was fairly easy, just drilled a tunnel through the three bits of stud, two existing and one that i put in. wasnt happy with the gap on the right hand side though so put a new bit up and fitted the door frame and finally the plaster which i did yesterday, was quite hard to start off with, and started inside the wardrobe as it wont really be seen, but it was quite awkward working in the tight space. soon got the hang of it though.
