best thing you can do mate is get a builder round to have a look. if you supply the slabs i cant see it being more than 400quid maybe abit more if you need a small retaining wall | |

no, ive done work on houses where ive had to navigate through the house to get a wheel barrow in and out. can you get access to the garden by taking a fence panel down? | |

Its quite strange because the 2 patio slabs mentioned above are as you say, 2 bricks below the doors, however the garden sort of slopes upwards from there. | |

how much soil needs to be dug out from the garden. the top of the patio should be 2 courses(bricks) down from the damp(or underside of the french doors) | |

Ive got a fairly small garden so thinking of a patio that stretches out from my french doors, an area roughly 5m x 3m. |
