Preferably we won't need to redecorate not right away anyway. we both have car loans finishing next year which will free up another 300 per month meaning well have 700 ish at the end of every month. so will plan to decorate and stuff then. | |

That's cool. I know we had a rough idea of what everything was going to cost and once we moved in we got the real prices. To be fair though our expected outgoings weren't much different to what they are in reality. | |

that's pretty good. i got a 90% for 3 years at 6.39% with halifax. | |

When we bought the house we had a rough idea of what we could afford on a mortgage then spoke to an adviser to play around with the figures. Deposit size plays a big part in it all. | |
