I see Google are releasing their property search over here where they overlay details of houses for sale from agents and private sellers on their maps - seems a great idea tbh. Hit Rightmove hard as their shares dropped 10% on the news

quote: Haven't needed it so far, especially when they charge almost £600 a month for the privilege! Globrix are pants, shame as they promised big things when they started not too long ago. Findaproperty/primelocation was costing me £200 per month but its going up to £280, and rightmove charge £275 for lettings only. I always use Rightmove personally but that's because i'm an agent. Wasn't sure if it was actually the preferred option to those looking but the poll's helped! Cheers guys

Any agent needs to use Rightmove, We also use Globrix, get a few leads off of that. But that's all!

Rightmove, its nice and clear, quick and appears to be updated often. Some of them look like scam websites (you know when some sites just 'look dodgy' or shite?)

Ta so far. Haven't used Rightmove with my agency so far as they've been too expensive, but findaproperty/primelocation have just upped their price inline with Rightmove. Have used Rightmove for years, but wasn't sure if it wasn't just used mostly by agents.

Rightmove - I dont even bother with the rest and that goes for most others I know who have searched for houses online.

Rightmove if I'm just having a browse. If I'm actively looking I'll usually use the top 3 and gumtree

I run a small letting agency in Manchester and am trying to gauge which is actually the most popular for people looking. They're all bloody expensive for me to use bar gumtree, and the top 4 each claim to be the best. |
