Me the G/F were looking at trying secure a 75% mortgage and the best fixed rate we found so far was 4.9%. Even with the rates as low as they are you still need a hefty deposit to get them anywhere near a good rate. Pretty crap at the mo imo. | |

Unfortunately not, we've gone through our IFA who has got the better option for us. | |

I've just got a mortgage with Halifax, based on 85% loan to value, works out at 6.50% for 5 year fixed repayment option. | |
