Good thing about pre paid is you are more aware of what you are using so as a result tend to save energy better! | |

We moved into a house with an electric meter and £20 can last 6-7 weeks thats for a 2 bed semi. Not bad i think :) | |

i am tempted to get these put in! u can have them in for 6 months just to see if u save! i currently pay £100 for gas and electric! and iam hardly home!! | |

Pre pay gas and electricity are much much more expensive than post pay. | |

Pre-pay menters mean you end up paying more for gas. They are a pain in the arse when they run out and your in the shower so no hot water! | |

But if you have normal meters and pay by DD you get DD discounts, not a hige amount but it all helps these days. As LiveLee said, as a normal user you will be looking at £30 a month for each fuel :thumbs: | |

Used to live in a student house with one, pain in the arse when the power goes! But if it's a proper house and you keep on top of it you'll be fine, will keep you in track with your bills i suppose | |

Yeah i know all has them but i mean pay ones where you get a card to put money on then put the card into the meter :lol: | |

mine has anyway; I pay DD of £30 a month even though we use less than £1 per month at the moment, so we're building up a good credit level for when we move in | |
