	Eco homes are a good investment, they comand higher values now as people are becoming more eco friendly to the environment etc. They are an absolute fucker to get through planning though and often cost the developers a lot more to construct than a standard house.

They have won an award for being a lowcost eco home, we only went for it as its new, got carpet, white goods and it gets us on the ladder i will add pics soon

	Nice one :thumbs: Im looking at buying a new build off plan, it wont be built until August next year though. Its a new site, not 1 house is built yet so im waiting to see if they sell/any offers come on the table before reserving!!

	No pics uploaded yet :lol: Basically we put a deposit down on a newbuild timberframe eco home in january and they have just put the timber frame up. So its well on the move for complition in septembe/october the waiting game has now changed to progress :) Got nearly everything sorted we need apart from the microwave :rolleyes: its a shared ownership house and comes with white goods etc so thats a big saving for now [Edited on 27-07-2008 by MikeE]
