the guy who did my grass quoted £2141 for the fencing..... when I priced up the parts it come out around £1300. | |

I can't even see how he would have even made much money out of me cos cheapest I could get turf for my garden was £400 so he may have got it a little cheaper...... soil will have been at least £100 for a wagon to deliver it, then he had to pay his 2 helpers and take some wages for himself. | |

Ive had 2 tonne of stone delivered before and it was a hell of a alot...so 20tonne of soil would be a huge amount. | |

I would recommend turf from personal experience.... I'm not sure if it would be cheaper to get seed or turf cos you would need a fair few boxes of seed to do a full garden.... | |
