the son of the woman who used to live there used to lock her in her room for days at a time and steal to fund his drug habit - maybe I should change the doors sooner rather than later ;)

Best one is that I couldn't understand how my hedges were getting trimmed on a near weekly basis when we moved in; turns out next door neighbour had a key to the side extension to let himself round the back. I soon solved that, I knocked down the extension, and built a bigger better one now my hedge can overgrow all it wants ;)

I've not changed mine yet.
But, previous owners are lovely.

Will be changing doors soon though.

Sister changed hers when she moved but only because the ex owner had split from her boyfriend & he still had a key, owned money etc

If you buy from Mary Poppins dont bother, if its some ex junkie do bother.

I have moved several times over the years, and never changed the locks, and never had any bother.

I've moved about 6 times in my 22 year lifetime and never changed the locks, lot of shite.

Ive been advised by a mate, that you must change the locks when you move into a house.

Is he right?
