What's the area like?

It used to be quite a shitty area to be honest a few years ago. But then they pulled all the old concrete army houses down on that estate and rebuilt it. I think the majority of the people who lived there moved away so it seems like a fairly nice place now. Its in a good location for roads and trains aswell if your interested.

Yes but its in Newcastle :0

Yep, which is a far more fun and cheaper place to be than Surrey:thumbs:

Personally i'd go for a 1st floor or higher. Top floor is nice as you get loft space. I'm on the ground floor and feel very uneasy about leaving it empty for a few days. There's are to many windows that can be popped open and two doors. Only takes someone to know what they are doing and they are in. I'm looking to move in the next six months solely for this reason. I’ve had new double glazed put it which is meant to be a lot more secure than the original double glazed PVC.

Just my advice, like it or lump it.

It's depressing but this is about the nicest place I can find round here at a price I can afford.

It's not amazing but its the nicest affordable place I can find :(

And I use the word affordable loosely :|
