if you are bricking up a door and putting in a window, strictly speaking you would need planning for the change of use and the window. would require building warrant for full thing. | |

Think theres more to it these days than bricking up the entrance & building a partition wall. It needs to be done to building regs and you need building control approval, also Planning Permission. You'd maybe be best to get an architect involved, get some drawings done of plans & get him to sort the planning side as it can go back & forth as many times until their happy, you'll probably also need to raise the floor & fit a dpc if theres not already one. | |

Right double garage, want to divide it and keep one side as normal garage and the side with the door that goes into the house to become a bedroom/office studio. |
