Oh and Andrew, Give Mark and Me a shout when you want your rads swapping :P

the Pipe alone is stupidly priced for a bundle of 22mm( ten 10ft lengths ) is 99 quid 15mm is about 60 quid

depending what size, rads can be about 50 quid each the boilers retail at about a grand and a ten radder will be a 3 man and an apprentice job at least

did he specify wether he would be doing all the patching up? filling in the old holes ect?

and also who is wiring it up make sure hes buliding regs part P qualified

As I said though seems a fair price considering you are using an expensive boiler

for 7-8 rads, combi boiler and bathroom installation we have been quoted 3700

Thats materials for heating (rads, pipes, boiler etc) and labour for both.

Sounds reasonable although I would get a few other quotes before committing.

I paid £1000 for a new combi boiler to be fitted a couple of years back.

I'd recomend getting the radders done to at the same time if your replacing a simlar system. Few of mine need replacing but will do that when i redecorate each room :)

Alphas are good Boilers, seems a fair price for a 10 radder TBH

What sort of system do you have now? tank and cylinder? any power showers you have wont work on a combi

Flow rates on hot water are greatly reduced on Combis as well

price seems fair though, We`d probably charge the same

Sounds pretty decent tbh. What boiler have they spec'd you??

Check the boiler they are proposing can give enough output for central heating & hot water including any showers that need to be linked up. Last thing you want is for the boiler to struggle to supply the output - BTU's.

Just been quoted £2900 to install 10 radiators, two of which are chrome radiators, this includes new boiler, pipes etc. The whole kit and kabodle.

How does this seem price wise, I have never done this before so I have nothing to compare it to
