Or someting like that. I got denied though  :(

You need to be earning mega bucks to get a Morgan & Stanley credit card.

Balance transfer to your bank account so you could just buy it with real money and then move the credit over. 3% fee though.

Check what offer you get as well, not sure if everyone gets that.

Are the offering 0% on purchases for a few months? I'm tempted to get one to buy a TV in my flat as I don't want to pay for the whole thing at once really...

Need to get see what is on my next statement :D

I have MBNA and i was late with a payment, they withdrew the 0% offer, so i called them and apologised for it and they put the offer back on for me and we set up a DD for the minimum amount so it wouldnt happen again.

Had my MBNA for about 12 years now....Always been good to me..Paid it off a wee while ago though as 8.5k credit limit was too tempting.

I had the same thing but never got a statment so they refund fee and reinstalled 0% offer.

Had a couple of credit cards sending me 0% cheques they must be desperate for business

Fair dos, credit checks and all that stuff.

All to easy just to get a new card rather than pay up

Ian

posted on 10th Jul 07 at 20:54

Yeah balance transfer.

I got denied for a few so I'm not sure about going for more, was going to get off that bandwagon and just pay stuff off rather than spending it

AndyKent

What fee? Balance transfer?

Better than their compound interest is it not.....

Ian

posted on 10th Jul 07 at 20:48

3% fee though with Egg.

I'm going to put in the o/d for the minute and work harder until its done

AndyKent

posted on 10th Jul 07 at 20:45

Go to Egg, they do 9 months 0% IIRC.

And all online so much easier to work out....

Colin

Sounds like a bit of a dodgy move to me. Just claim back any charges & switch.....plenty other offers around if they dont want your business!

Ian

posted on 10th Jul 07 at 20:40

Yeah they withdrew the offer from me.

I can see the thinking but a grands worth of interest by the time its compounded is a bit harsh for four days IMO.

Colin

Thats a bit shit :|

Marc

Withdrawal because of late payment?

Ian

posted on 10th Jul 07 at 20:31

Late payment by four days - £12 charge. Bit of a doh but I can handle it.

Withdrawal of 0% offer which I was expecting until March.

£59 interest this month

£93 the next

etc. etc.

Better make alternative arrangements :|
