Yeah it would be Sammy, but i live in Wales so Berkshire may be the same price im not sure.

Prices for a 1 bed flat wont be high, but just over budget the first few months in case you have any surprises

But would prices for gas and electric be cheaper than what you pay, as you live in a house IIRC?

I would budget 50 leccy, 50 gas and 50 water into a joint account so you always have money rolling over

In the winter your gas could double. The 25 is my average (5 a month in summer, 40 a month in winter we go through) but i am on a meter so its easier for me as i dont have an averaged amount i pay every month

Dont forget to give your meter readings the day u move in

Obviously there is rent and probably ground rent for the flat itself, but anyone know roughly how much council tax/electricity/gas/water is per month on a 1 bed flat with 2 occupants?
