Dysons are crap. They are prone to failure.

I've had two Dysons and can conform BOTH lost suction. I replaced all the filters etc and they were still shite.

I bought a Miele and never locked back, it's excellent!

might find filter is clogged, change it or wash if washable. hoovered up loads of brick and plaster dust with ours and lost suction for above reason.

Have you checked for blockages in all the accessible pipes?

Cosmo

just ring them, as IIRC their customer service is top notch and they normally replace most broken ones.

i was hoovering my room after my uncle ripped out my built in units and hoovering away dust and wooddust stuff but its seems to have lost suction and is making a weird shhh shhh shh shhh shhh shh noise, seems to be coming from a little vent below the power switch, looks like some kind of valve? anyone else had the same problem?
