i have a mirror around 6ft by 6ft secured into plasterboard with brackets in the plasterboard then a screw through the mirror into the bracket | |

We fitted mine with 4 brass brackets screwed into the mirror itself on the back, then into the wall itself with heavy duty wall plugs and screws from B&Q | |

i prefer using this kind of fixing when screwing into plasterboard. they are very strong. | |

you need plasterboard fixings then mate. there are loads of different kinds available. can you post pics of the brackets you got? | |
