We've got water heated flooring throughout our apartment....thermostat in each room. Its the nuts. | |

My mum has it in her bathrrom and kitchen, works really well :D She has this little control box on the wall too so you can set the temperature, timer etc | |

The electric stuff just comes in big rolls on a mat and you roll it out and cut to size, then tile over. | |

Underfloor heating can be electric or water. | |

ours is electric but linked onto the central heating so comes on at the same time. | |

we have it in a few rooms and its great. Have thick slate flooring in the kitchen and warms it up nicely. | |

I wouldnt bother with underfloor heating mate. I know a guy who sells this for a living but wont have it in his house. I dont know a lot about it but the fact he can get it cheap as fook but still wont have it speaks volumes. | |

As I said in the other bathroom, we're looking at fitting a new bathroom in the house here, with a budget of £4k total. Im gonna try and do as much of the work myself as I can, but may have to call someone in to fit the shower, but either way, I thought Id start a new thread in case people are interested in the progress again, its gonna take a few weeks for any real progress though. |
