you can gte 4.5x as long as you can prove you can afford repayments. | |

I have a rate of 4.9%, 67950k mortgage based on a 15k salary 4.5x annual salary, mortgage based on affordability - not by salary multiplier | |

I was offered six times my slary mate - instead just took over 3 times my salary | |

the 3.5x joint salary wont have changed, the apr rate will have went up & you might struggle to get a fixed rate deal. | |
