The 450 I've got now will be a split level tank with the Ram's in, about 1-1.5ft of water, will have the back pult up with land plants on the top with the water returning from the filter over a waterfall

Kinda like this but deeper water

that will look awesome.

I fancy the idea of a biggish tank (nowhere near as big as what you are planning  ) but with something like Frontosa's in it.

edit - when I have a house of my own

Will be along the wall in the front room or garage depending on the house we get

that would be one nice and expensive tank!

Been looking at 10x2x2 for when I move out the apartment and into a house sometime next year, the 2ft height keeps the price right down as any larger and the glass needs to be alot thicker.

What length width and height?

As 10x2x2 is only 1083 litres and 10x3x3 is only 2437 litres.
