Jules you live on your own dont you?

Ive had my house since Feb 06, never had the meter read which im really regretting now.

Because the meter is quite abit higher than their 'predicted' readings, and was when i moved in so i should of had a meter reading done the day i moved in!!!

^ tip for anyone  when you move in, ask your leccy/gas company to come and do a reading when u move in!

PS - I pay £30 a month for my leccy, gas is on a meter which i do prefer, i use £10 a month gas in the summer and £30 a month gas in the winter!

hence the reason why i dont pay by DD, they tell me how much ive used, i pay it, no more, no less, simple as!!!!!

We are on a key meter, so if we cant afford it, we just sit in the dark

They've increased mine as well, but as the accounts for gas and electricty are nearly £400 in arrears due to the fact it took them a year to set my account up on moving here, I'll let them off.

This is exactly why I pay my electricity/gas bills manually, every quarter...

Sorry,

Didn't make it very clear in my first post....i've known this scam for ages so just posted venting my annoyance :o

My DD electric bill has always been worked out over a 12 month period....it levels out over 12 months...ie lesser in the summer and more in the winter (ive got storage heaters) my DD reflects this.

Twice yearly they send me the same old shite letter...'you've paid too little etc' pay more up front...

Utter toss.

It's just a scam to get your money in their account not yours :(

well i know im gona be moving supplier soon enough...

worst one was a friend of mine, they asked her to sign a form just to prove they were there even tho she said no to the supply, she thought nothing of it...

2 weeks later, hello new npower customer :|

I'm only posting this because i've had my annual scam letter

Npower=tossers

And all power supplier scamsters TBH...they all work in a similar way.

I pay via direct debit....and my account is in credit (not enough according to them to cover the winter period)

They tried this a few years back...they now think it's a good idea to up my DD from £50 to £90....back then I ended up with an Npower account £200 in credit.

That's £200 in their account not mine/yours.

You've been warned now we are entering the winter months
